Updated with new audio clip # 4 – July 18, 2011 – Greetings from Little Town Life. Well I made a point to attend the Copake Town Board meeting last evening, July 14, 2011. First let me say it was a very long meeting – 2hours 40 minutes, at times towards the end it was almost painful to sit through. The supervisor Reggie Crowley as well as Councilman Tompkins did not attend this meeting. Town Deputy Supervisor Joe Laporta chaired the meeting, also present where Councilman Bob Sacks, Councilwomen Linda Gabaccia, and Councilman Walt Kiernan. I was able to audio record the entire meeting, but the file even at a low quality is just to long to post in its entirety. So I have started to pull parts from the full audio, points and issues that I found interesting. Here is just the some of the clips from the meeting last night. I will be putting more audio up as I process them. As always thank you for visiting LittleTownLife.com. I am very interested in what you might think and look forward to any comments. Please share this site with all that you think might enjoy it, or gain something from it’s content.

Funny the two were absent when something wicked their way comes…………..
It sounds to me like it’s been business as usual at Copake. No firm written bids for insurance can and does cause mistakes or errors. “figuring on a 10% increase” is not the same as a written bid (which should have been from 2 or more vendors)
Also–the police department has to go—the money needs to be spent on new gas tanks and health insurance!!!! Copake taxpayers cannot afford any more “mistakes”—
